In Jávea, you have the option of attending either an international school or a local Spanish school. Both schools have plenty to offer, it depends on what you prefer. There are two international ones in the region of Jávea that stand out: XIC -Xàbia (Jávea) International College and LES - The Lady Elizabeth School.
The Lady Elizabeth School
This school can be found in Cumbre Del Sol and is about a 20 minute drive from Jávea. The school has a beautiful view of the Mediterranean Sea. The elementary school caters for KS1 and KS2 pupils (from 2-11 years old) and the secondary school is for older KS3 pupils (between 11 and 18 years old).
This school follows an IGCSE and A-level examinations in KS3 / 4 itinery. The school offers an excellent education and numerous extra curricular activities to choose from. All students attend activities that reinforce values such as: respect, tolerance, honesty and self-confidence.

Xabia International College
This school can be found in Jávea on the Careterra de Portichol, just 2 minutes from the secondary school and, like the Lady Elizabeth, has beautiful sea views. The school teaches the British curriculum and conducts IGCSE and A-level exams.
These exams can be fully validated with the Spanish Certificate of Completion of Secondary Education (graduado en Educacion Secundaria Obligatoria). Students have the opportunity to engage in many extracurricular activities, including soccer, karate, music, tennis, art and drama. The school's family atmosphere encourages the individual development of children of all nationalities.
